Boulevard BG Now Has a Full Bar!

The Boulevard on Far West ("The Bully" to the regulars) recently got their full-service liquor license, so they have a full bar now and are open later, too! They still have 2 for 1 burgers on Mondays and Saturdays, $1.50 Lone Star pints all the time, $1 Tecates all day Monday, and other beer specials for all sporting events, so stop in and check it out!!!

The address is 3616 Far West Blvd., and the number is 345-3103. Lest I forget, they have expanded the seating and added more TV's, too!

Used to go there every week for the all you can eat catfish with a group of about twenty, fun as hell. They decided to switch to whitefish and the tradition stopped. Those ********.

I have only been there a couple times and really enjoyed it. I trust Durk's judgement and that is enough for me.

Durkee, do me a favor, post the specials that stand out. I had some grub there and was amazed at some of their specials.

Hell, maybe we should just plan a happy hour for the Hornfans crew, and not only will I buy everyone's first beer, but I'll put together a good drink special just for our group?? What do you think, Loop??

Didn't they have an enchilada or nacho special too? And what about the catfish? Give us all the specials and munchies.

Tuesday and Wednesday are the enchiladas/fajitas days, which coincides with the Mexican beers being on special. The fajitas are very good, and have improved a lot in quality over what they were with the old ownership. I especially recommend the chicken fajitas, which are my favorite, or you can get combo beef and chicken for no extra charge.

The catfish is all you can eat every Friday, and it is really good, too! It's hand breaded with a Shiner Bock batter, and comes with cole slaw and fries. There are quite a few people that I see every Friday just to get the catfish.

Another special that I forgot to mention is that they have buffalo wings for .35 each every day from 2-6 PM. My favorites are the teriyaki ones, with teriyaki sauce that is homemade by the mom of the two brothers that own the place! Good stuff!!

Loop, when do you want to do a happy hour? I will hook us up with drink and appetizer specials if we can get a date set.

How about next Wednesday?? We could have happy hour from 5 or so until about 7:30 or 8, and then those of us that play in our regular Wednesday poker game could head out afterward??
