I'll be in Boston for a few days next week, staying downtown.

Any suggestions for food/drink/general tomfoolery?

Food: walk to the North End and pick any restaurant.
Drink: on your way back downtown from the North End, walk through Faneuil Hall and pick any bar.
General tomfoolery: after a few drinks, take the red line to Harvard to **** up some smaht kids.

The Sam Adams Brew House is fun. You can try samples of the beers. It's not really a factory but a restaurant. It is on Boylston. There are a ton of cafes in Back Bay. That is a very trendy part of town. I always stay down there and walk to Fenway!

This Month's Rachel Ray Everyday magazine has a special on Boston. It lists some fun places to visit and a cool sports bar.

Have a beer at the 21st Amendment for me. Great pub across the street from the Statehouse on Bowdoin Street. I still think about all the beer I had there every time I pay my student loans.
