Boston for St. Patty's Day

Anyone been? Worth the trip?

Thinking of going up the weekend before. Is it true that the parades, parties, etc. are often the Sunday before SPD? This year that would be the 15th.

Trying to decide whether to stay up there from the 15th through the 18th, or whether I'll be all boozed out by Sunday.

Never been on st patty's but check to see if the Murphy's are playing. They are a blast to drink to.
