Well the Rangers have shed payroll. Is it to spend elsewhere like the outfield?
We're not sure if they will keep Cruz. Choice has power potential, but isn't yet a proven major league starter. Beltre is speedy but erratic. Martin was a very nice rookie. Murphy is gone

AJ, Nathan and Cruz had salares in he $7 to $10 million range, but were producctive and earned their money. Murphy was probably overpaid at more than $5 million a year. Gentry and Moreland are earning about $500k, which is about as cheap as a veteran major leaguer will work.
