Wait, maybe he has eliminated the budget deficit and we did not even realize it. I mean, how can you have a budget deficit if you have no budget? He's a genius I tell you.
 
Why are we still talking about "the bush tax cuts"? Obama has been President for 3 years. Why didn't he eliminate them if they are such a bad idea? Why is Bush part of this discussion at all? Did I miss something? Has he declared himself a candidate again? Three years and no budget. Yes, Obama is serious about that deficit. He eliminated it!

Considering that it takes at least 6-12 months to effect the economy in the US, I don't think anything BO did got us out of the recession. I do believe his policies, inexperience and morons that he surrounds himself with have kept us on the edge of falling back into another recession.
 
Dheiman is spot on. We're broke. Just balance the damn budget. Oh yeah, there is no budget. Nor is there any political will to control spending outside of Paul Ryan and the Paul family.
 
So who will actually live up to their promises to control spending. Neither party has shown any discipline on this subject. Even now, the GOP and the Dems put more emphasis on getting their politics than on cleaning up the financial house.
