Bone transferring from S. Carolina

WOW. I really wondered about her choice of universities when she made the announcement. She is the type of player that is accustomed to being involved in post season play and may have realized that her chances of making noise in the Big Dance are slim at USC.

Should be interested to see where she lands.

Yes, very interesting. I would love to see her in burnt orange but I recall comments when she signed that A&M had been her mother's first choice and hence her second. Of course the Horns were in her top four also, not that any of this means anything...often players who transfer don't go with any of the programs they were considering the first time around. Hopefully someone with more info will post details soon!

thanks for the link babhorn. geez, i kinda feel like 'here we go again' with Bone. the recruiting process out of high school was so long, dramatic, and drawn out. and now she's transferring. definitely a big blow for Staley's program.

i'll be very interested to see where send ends up. seems like she should already have a good idea of where she is going, right? if she's announcing that she's transferring out?

Shut up!!! WOW! That's a shocker!! She's coming back to the state of Texas. Where I don't know?

Bone is just who we need. A powerful offensive minded post. Isn't she a lot like Cokie, but with a little more polished offensive skills?

I see zero chance of her coming here. I would put my money on A&M, since that was her other top choice last year and the school her family wanted her to go to. I don't think it will be Uconn. I can't see Geno accepting any transfer, especially one who turned him down the first time.

Carla and Aubry may have some more advice for Kelsey on her transfer....

Lol TxtoCo. But on another note, I always felt that when Bone signed with South Carolina last year, that she would end up transferring out after at least 2 years. Guess i was wrong!

Yeah, her decision baffled me. I think she underestimated how difficult the process of building a program would be.

If she was that frustrated I am wondering if she is going to go to an extreme opposite and go to THE school where she knows she will get a shot at a title.

She can't go to Tennessee and if she goes to UCONN she better get her act and attitude togetjer because that UCONN coach is one man of no nonsense.
