Bohanon's in San Antonio

It was rated as the 2nd best steakhouse in the state. I have never been. You guys? Sounds pretty damn good. I go to SA frequently so might need to make a stop there........

Well, it's pretty good. I have a lot of clients that love to eat here when they come into town. I do not think it is worthy of #2 on the list.

Try it out though since it's pretty good.

Bohanon's is very good, and easily the best steakhouse in San Antonio. Whoever thinks the Palm is better must like their steak burnt to a damn crisp. And while Little Rhein is still good, it is largely living off its past reputation.

I don't know that I would say that it is the second-best steakhouse in Texas. I would argue that Al Biernat's, Nick & Sam's, and Bob's are all better. But that is something reasonable minds can disagree on, I suppose. It is a very good steakhouse, and I have no trouble recommending it when you're visiting San Antonio.

I like Bohanan's quite well, but club giraud has a Chateaubriand that rocks my face off.

That is seriously the best beef in town. I would rank Bohanan's as number two for beef in SA and the atmosphere really is quite unique.

I have a hard time imagining it as number 2 in the state based solely on the food. But, to each his own.

The Palm is "good". I will not be shocked when SA reports that Bohanon's is much better, even though I have not even eaten at Bohanon's, if that makes any sense.

The owner of Bohannan's is a complete douchebag. It goes without saying that he's aggy. I had the 'opportunity' to do business with him and simply passed. His food may be great, but I'll never personally know. If his customers knew him personally, the place would be empty.
