Ok.. So with the news of our AD retiring/stepping down. Several will say that the first and most important Domino has fallen. As I watch the LHN and was looking at Game Plan with Mack Brown... I can't help but see a tired and worn down man. Mack has really begun to show is young age and 62/63 is not that old mind you.

I am starting to see an old man... one who isn't as enthused, one that doesn't have much fight. And one that knows his days are limited as the Head Coach. We are only 4 games in and .500 for the year but... I can't help but think that the turn around is not there.

Any one else see the tired Man that Mack has become on the LHN or am I just reading the tea leaves and what may or may not happen at the end of the year.

The pressure is obviously getting to him. Some token advisory post at the University where people can pat him on the back and tell him how great he was is probably just what he needs.

Speaking of body language, some people have commented about Mack losing weight, but it's a gaunt weight loss. To me he looks like he's stuck in the third trimester.

I agree on the weight gain... its kid of sad. I mean its hard to feel sorry for someone who get 5.3 million a year in salary but Mack is falling from grace and fast. This season is nearly half over and has not gone the way would like. I doubt this team wins out but seeing a withering coach is a bit sad. My money is on Mack stepping down but would I do whats best for the program or whats best for my wallet? Walking away from 5.3 million is hard for anyone to do no matter the circumstance.

The strain on him has taken its toll.He thought he could right the ship. He thought he was reinvigorated. He was wrong on both counts. Timefor new blood. I hope he finally thinks so.
