His last tweet is a bit of a cooler, maybe someone in that room follows him? :p

I don't know enough about the journalist one way or the other but it makes for entertaining speculation.
 
Nobody from Auburn is technically true, BMD make contact, prospective coach can deny talking to Auburn, coach takes job. #Saban hired by Bama went down this way
 
Saban's deal with Alabama was cut during the summer with two Alabama alums. Mal-fee-cent$ Moore and little Bobbie DimWitt never knew what hit em.

As to whether or not Bob can recruit in Auburn, have you ever been to Clemson without the lake? When TravelAdvisor's list of Top 10 restaurants includes BurgerKing and PizzaInn/Hut in the top five, you know you've reached the end of the dirt road.

Auburn doesn't recruit players, they buy them.

I ate at a Ruby Tuesday there (with a Bama fan) about 10 years ago. I thought the food was so-so but Google gives it 4 stars...

One boy resigned from the team. Drake stoops is still there and played a little bit early. He’s a pretty good receiver but he’s no Hollywood or CD.

I think Bob is content to draft into Barry’s role as one of the most popular guys around town. He has all the money he could want and I think he realizes that his body can’t handle the stress of that job. Plus, he gets to watch his boy play ball from a luxury box.
 
I could get behind this... especially if Auburn and Missouri flipped divisions and Stoops would face Saban in the rivalry game and potentially the conference championship.
 
Auburn is in Alabama, but it ain't Alabama. If they fire Gus they deserve Sponge Bob, not Visor Bob as their next head coach. The team performance has been respectable.
