...is known for his fiery attitude...this is what the announcer said when they came back from the weird commercial where the dude pops up in the back seat to motivate some douche to park his old Jeep Wagoneer in a spot too small...I digress.

But why don't announcers talk about coaches that cheat? Do they want to but know it may be career suicide or something? The end to interviews? Just once I would like to hear a talking head say, "Coach X, known for his fiery and motivating temperment, as well as a getting schools on probation by bending or taking advantage of the rules...."

loop, Huggins is an a-hole and a bully but there is no doubt that he is a great coach. Most D-1 teams would give him a pass on the unsavory things he brings. Only elite schools that can get a a good coach AND a character guy can afford to pass on him.

I agree he is a great coach. Really, I do. I am just wishing that announcers spoke of the negatives, esp. when there are many. Not just Huggo, he is just what refreshed my angst, for lack of a better word. But whether it be him, Ericson in football or a host of others.

They were portraying Ericson as this genius wizard without mentioning that every school he has been at goes on probation and that he helped take cheating and thuggery to a new level for the sport when he was at Miami. I think it is only fair to let it be known so that fans maybe new to the sport or of a certain age are not mislead with half-truths.

Can he coach football, hell yeah. But is his past more than accusations and with bonafide penalties, yes.

There a good number of coaches that get it done without the baggage and history.

He also now looks amazingly like a pig. He was just an average looking guy that everyone knew was a lousy **********, but now he looks literally like a stool-eating porcine guy who is a dirty coach.
