BO to offer ocare fix?

According to Pelosi BO will speak this morning :
"Stay tuned, and just see what could be an administrative fix, it could be a legislative fix. I would rather it be done administratively because that could be done much more quickly without any accompanying agendas.”

Bo will be speaking when I am in a meeting.
No matter what he says I know it will get plenty of coverage.
This is one case where I truly hope BO and his handlers have found a way to help the millions who have lost their insurance But do not have to use more borrowed money to do it.
10.35 am CST today.

The liar will do anything to keep the vote proposed by republicans from happening tomorrow. The dems will throw smoke until after the next election. The only way this law can be legally changed is if the legislature changes it. The dems will never allow that because it would doom obozocare. Dems have wanted this for decades and they will not give it up.

How can you fix this cluster with an administrative fix? It is truly scary to have this lot in charge of our health care system.

If she doesn't even know whether it's an administrative fix or a legislative fix, how much can she actually know?

Do we have to pass it before we can find out what's in it?

I have a hard time believing that Obama would propose a legislative fix. That would open a Pandora's box and he knows it. I suspect this announcement is an act of desperation to thwart the legislative proposals that are currently in the works.

It's been great political theater - Dems threatening to jump ship unless he allows people to keep their insurance policies for one more year (are we seeing a pattern of kicking cans down the road here???) - all the while these are the same people who voted lock-step for the plan which very clearly shows why people would NOT be allowed to keep their plans.

The fake shock and outrage on this has been truly offensive to me.

What real effect does this have, if any? The insurance companies don't have to follow his Imperial Command, do they? I mean what can he do, sick Holder on them?

Clean you are exactly right.
I really hope BO supporters aren't so dumb as to think the POS actually " fixed' anything with that grand prouncement
BUT I bet BO and his minions are counting on people being so dumb they will blame the insurance companies who eliminated those plans months ago and now can't just magically bring them back because the clown said so.

This is really sad, to see how low BO has sunk the office of our Presidency
and how badly he screwed millions of people.

So after the Dems in Congress passed obamaCare and BO signed it BO had HHS go back and rewrite the regs on how an insurance policy could be " grandfathered"

How is that constitutional?

then he exempted large biz from the" settled law' for a year How is that constitutional?
NOW after insurance companies have deleted all the plans that no longer qualified under HHS's rewriting of the law BO decides to be all magnanimous and say people can have their old policies back
IF the insurance companies will offer them and IF the states will allow them
How is that constitutional?

ps Some states have already said they will NOT allow old policies to come back. Beyond that most states have a 60 day requirement of changes in policies.
did the Clown know or care?
does any supporter care?

well apparently democrats are going to side with GOP reps to extend existing laws by a year and allow ANYONE to purchase them if Obama doesn't come up with a fix first? Dems set a Friday deadline

They want a do-over. They didn't expect the mass policy cancellations, so they didn't have the spin machine ready to blame the insurance industry. That's why they want these delay measures. (Side note - I still have to laugh at the fact that Democrats are rushing to agree to something that they and the media considered so outrageous that to even negotiate on it constituted a threat to constitutional government just a month ago.)

However, the bottom line is that the cancellations are happening because the law prohibits the plans. That's not the insurance carriers' fault. A lot of things are their fault, but this isn't. So the alleged fixes just delay the cancellations, but they eventually are going to happen. They have to. However, the Democrats are hoping that when they do, the spin machine will have been preparing the public to blame the carriers.

What's happening right now is really the result of a fundamental problem with the ACA. If anyone really wants a fix, the entire law needs to be on the table for renegotiation.

Frankly, if I was the GOP, I'd be saying "I told you so" every chance I got, especially after the onslaught of ******** we heard from the Administration, Harry Reid, and the media leading up to and during the shutdown.

Most of the media still clings to the Clown's wonderfulness.
How incredible that he apologized
how incredible that even though these cancelled plans are ' substandard" he will allow people to have them back.
We the people seem to see through this.

I have a question for his supporters. When asked if he had been told how dysfunctional the website was he answered, " I was not told directly"
WTF does that mean?

As this latest lie unfolds that web site lie will pale in comparison.

The exact amount havoc that this creates probably won't be known until rates come out for 2015, late next summer.

After the vitriol they spewed toward Cruz Lee and Rand it is funny to see the Dems in full scale panic.

The biggest losers however are WE the people.
we will pay for this for generations
and this was needless and forseeable

The only "fixes" obozo and the dem are proposing are the "FIX" of the next election.

MrD
It is a BIG deal.
What does it mean? He wasn't told it directly. did he hear it "indirectly"?
Why didn't he say NO?
That is a weasel answer
If he wasn't told directly then who was supposed to tell him
and when will this person be fired?

Saying he wasn't told directly suggests he learned about it ' indirectly" and still allowed the web site to open
either way it shows a repeating pattern of incompetence

so yes it is a big deal

Most states have/had risk pools where insurance companies were mandated by state law to offer policies for people with pre existing conditions. The premiums were more.
For those people they will likely see a decrease in premium costs under O'care. I do not know about the deductibles or co pays

so most will pay more to help cover the costs of people from risk pools as well as people who have not had insurance but have pre existing conditions.

The problem now is there will be fewer healthy people signing up ( which is hard to believe based on the tiny number to date)
so in 2015 you and most of us will pay even more than we are this year.

CNN headline on main page: Another blow for obama.

The House votes 261-157 to OK a Republican bill giving health insurers the option of extending some insurance plans through 2014. The measure is not expected to pass the Senate.

Those idiots are "all in" with Obama. They probably expect him to just issue decrees until the thing works. If this does not turn around soon, we may never see any of those hard core libs around here again.
