I am not fully educated on either case, but it seems far worse. Adopting a child then knocking him senseless as he tells you he was molested. I almost feel like he is worse than the person who commited the sexual harassment.

I can’t understand why men like Paterno Jim Jordan, and Schembechler would provide cover for predators.
It’s something that just doesn’t make a lot of sense. what power could a team doctor ( or even a defensive coordinator) have over a head coach?
and his own child???
No assistant coach or team doctor is that indispensable.

I honestly think there are two possibilities.
Either this doctor had to have something on Bo that protected him.
Or Bo was such a highly insecure defective individual that he was more worried about how this would “look” for him. Facing this would have been too hard.
Much easier for Bo to punch the 11yr old victim in the mouth and shut him up.

After this is investigated, if investigated in any depth or at all, I suspect Bo's legacy would be greatly tarnished or harmed.

It could even lead to removing his name and image from the program... kind of like State Penn did with Paterno.
