Nevermind that the law may be unconstitutional. Nevermind that it's up to Congress to Appropriate Funds. BO is quietly moving $500 million through HHS to the IRS to begin the process of enforcing his unpopular health care law, including the individual mandate. If allowed to stand, this will be one of the largest tax increases in American History.

While BO is giving away our tax payer money to the IRS( serioualy did a single Dem in congress read this bill?) one of the trustees BO approved for the CMS is releasing his findings, that instead of being revenue neutral and instead of saving taxpayers money Obamacare will actually add more than 340 billion to our debt.The Link

How he can get away with all the lies he told really is stunning. Remember when people like Ryan would point out the lies in what BO said about this obamacare and the media as well as supporters on here denigrated Ryan?

It gets much worse than hiring new agents and throwing money we don't have at a bill not yet recognized as constitutional.
Did anyone catch Jay Carney's response to this?

"My understanding is that this is about enabling the IRS to provide the, essentially the tax breaks to small businesses and individuals to assist them in acquiring health insurance -- or in the case of small businesses providing health insurance ," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters today.

So if this law stands, the IRS will be in the business of PROVIDING insurance for small businesses and assisting in the acquiring of insurance for larger companies. And you thought the IRS could be scary before, this is frightening.

So the HHD had a billion to use it where they wanted and they will have spent the entire billion over a year before most of the law will go into effect..
what happens if the SCOTUS overturns the law. How do we get BO to pay our money back?

let me explain it from my reading of the link. The Dems passed this bill that contained many rotten easter eggs. Amonf them is that HHS got 1 BILLION to spend however they want, inlike other appropriations to other agencies that were specificlly targeted
We don't know where HHS has spent the BIllion but we know so far HHS has given IRS 500 million
and we know HHS will have allocated the entire Billion by Sept. which is long long before the major parts of the bill become active
IF in fact the bill does become active.
If the bill gets shot down how will BO get our money back?

This is just one of the many many rotten eggs from this bill. It was also pointed out by an BO appointee that the bill will add 340 Billion to our deficit
even though BO stood before Congress and promised it wouldn't and then denigrated Paul Ryan for explaining why BO was wrong.

I still haven't been able to find what I call a good, credible source, but it does appear that this is not "right".

I would suggest that your outrage against govt shenanigans not be reserved solely for the Democrats.
 
Psshaw. "How" a bill is passed is often a bad process. Why are you getting upset about it now?

Legislation has often been called the equivalent of making sausage. This is nothing new.

Look, ObamaCare may be ok or not. But at least realize that we can't go on the same healthcare path we're on. It seems that most dislike ObamaCare, or HillaryCare, mostly because it was Dems who created the ideas. All the more so since the conservatives sure were silent when the individual mandate was thought of by the Heritage Foundation (iirc) and they called it the no free-rider bill.

Which leads me back to my overarching dialectic: most people are little more than mouthpieces for their internet/cable tv "news" source of choice.

Having said that Bush had a plane with BILLIONS of dollars in cash fly into Baghdad, only to have it disappear overnight.

I don't recall the Republican fanbois on this board being outraged.when that happened.

Y'all would be more credible were your outrage not so selectively partisan.
