BO Admin. Lied About Benghazi

I admit knowing BO put his political agenda ahead of safeguarding , then trying to save American lives and finally lying and stonewalling about it surprises me.
It is no secret I do not agree with his ideology but I still wnated to think he was someone who took his job seriously.
The more that comes out every day the more chilling it is as we learn what he and his admin did and didn't do..
To refuse to let our military try to save them ??
Then to lie about it all?

She apparently, if the people who will be testifying Wed are to be believed played a larger role in the cover up than previously thought
"On the night of Sept. 11, as the Obama administration scrambled to respond to the Benghazi terror attacks, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a key aide effectively tried to cut the department’s own counterterrorism bureau out of the chain of reporting and decision-making, according to a “whistle-blower” witness from that bureau who will soon testify to the charge before Congress, Fox News has learned.
That witness is Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the deputy coordinator for operations in the agency’s counterterrorism bureau. Sources tell Fox News Thompson will level the allegation against Clinton during testimony on Wednesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.
Fox News has also learned that another official from the counterterrorism bureau — independently of Thompson — voiced the same complaint about Clinton and Under Secretary for Management "
Since it is only Fox news reporting this we will have to wait until they testify to see if they say thre same things.

The whole thing doesn't make sense. The explanations I've heard about election season, Arab spring and all that, to me, aren't sufficient arguments for how the O Admin conducted themselves.
Why not allow a rescue mission?

What was the downside of doing the right thing?
If it comes down that O's reelection team didn't want to have a failed rescue mission hanging over their heads 45 days before an election, I think my head will explode.

So Obama's promise to "strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government" didn't happen? Shocked, I tell you.

I've never voted for Obama and so I was not defending him; I was merely pointing out that all pols lie and people frequently die.
As for that POS Nixon, he ran for president in 1968 with a secret plan for ending the Viet Nam war which he could not share with us; the war lasted several more years, nothing additional was accomplished and a couple of my friends died providing cover for a pack of politicians.
It is insane to point fingers at W or Obama or whoever holds that office and pretend the others were not as bad; or, conversely, it is insane to act like one is a big improvement over the others.
Nobody who is any good has any chance getting elected to congress, much less president.

Today the "whistle blowers" testified before Congress. Doesn't sound like too much new was learned:
Susan Rice was sent out to shovel a load of crap down the American public's throat, but we don't know who briefed her and sent her out.
Hillary called the second in command, Hicks, at 2 in the morning, but didn't ask if it was terrorism or a demonstration, which seems odd.

'That's what I got out of it, oh, and, the Dems seemed to be more interested in protecting the BO Admin than getting at the truth.
The liberal media, like Yahoo, largely ignored it. I had to really dig through the puff pieces on Kim K to find it there.

paso..I believe the difference is that W never tried to lie to the American people about who was to blame for the attacks. BO was in the final days of his campaign and didn't want to blame terrorists for the attack.
