It's sad that this thread has had 0 replies while the Trayvon Martin circus has been an ongoing discussion in multiple threads.

Anyways, Black's been pretty spot on throughout the crises to which he refers. I'd also recommend reading Dean Baker's analyses on the same matters, namely the housing bubble and the bank bailouts.

The truly amazing thing to me as I know it is to William Black is that nobody has been prosecuted, with the exception of some scapegoats to make it appear that something has been done (e.g., Bernie Madoff, R. Allen Stanford). I believe Black said that they prosecuted over 1,000 cases during the S&L debacle and nary 1 bloody prosecution for the fradulent Wall St. I-bank execs.

What's sickening is nothing can/will be done about this

Thanks for the recommendations from Dean Baker. I've downloaded a couple of his books for free and give them a read in my spare time.
