Blues on the green at zilker park question

So im going tonight to the last blues on the green show and was wandering about takeing a cooler of beer. I have been several times a few years ago and we did this but last month i was at bull creek and got a 300$ ticket for alcohol in a city park. ******* stupid law i know but thats a topic for another post. any who....can i LEGALLY take a cooler with beer in there?

I've been numerous times and always have beer and always sit by people with beer and have never seen anyone even asked about it.

If you happen to be one of the few that they decide to enforce the law, expect a week in jail before you get so much as a phone call. You will be put in with violent offenders too in the meantime. Be careful!

I'm glad you started this thread. I had forgotten the last one was tonight and at 6:30 this evening read this thread, loaded up my dogs and hauled over to Zilker!

I never seen anyone harassed about beer. Unless you're obviously drunk, it's usually fine.
