Blue Screen on my TV

Have a Mitsubishi HD TV with DirecTV box and a receiver. Have rebooted everything several times and nothing's working. When I turn on my tv it shows my input as HDMI-1 and the dreaded blue screen. The fact that it's lit up, I would assume, means my lamps are okay.

Any advice?

What else do you have hooked up to the tv. Have you tried a dvd to see if what happens there. Have you tried switching it to another HDMI input, I am assuming that you are using hdmi.

I tried the dvd and still have the blue screen. Earlier I tried "Input 2" since I'm not really sure that I have HDMI. I bought the tv before the HDMI connection was available. Seems that would put me on "Input 2" but that's part of my technically challenged self. I dunno. I'll probably have a friend that understands the connections to look at it,

It was an input problem. Somehow the input got switched to HDMI, but it should have been "Comp-3." Friend said that was third component. Thanks for offering help!
