We are former non-Republicans who are joining the Republican party for one year to help Ron Paul win the GOP nomination for President in 2012.

The Link

So much for the myth Ron Paul can't win against the Zero.

Though I plan to vote for Paul, I don't buy this organization. I'm sure there is a handful of Democrats who would vote for Paul in the general election. However, I don't think it would be enough to make a big difference. As a social libertarian and peace candidate, I think he would appeal to some Democrats, but the bottom line is that he would dramatically scale back government, and for 90 percent of Democrats that would go over like a fart in a car.

One thing I do like is the link to the article that is driving this movement. See link. It confirms what I've said before, which is that I don't see how anybody can really like Obama but dislike Bush or vice versa. There are a few minor differences between them, but for the most part, they're indistinguishable. Though I didn't vote for MCain (voted Libertarian), he might have been the real "change" candidate in the end.
