bloodhound virus attack

Somehow I have the"bloodhound" virus. It sucks. It appeart that it's preventing me from going to Symantec's Web site so that I can remove the thing. If anyone has experience with this virus or has advice/directions for removing it, posting them would be much appreciated. Thanks.
