Blind teen who used echolocation to get around die

Scientists studying the evolution of echolocation in bats ought to honor this young man by using his name to describe the point in the geologic record when bat species exploded due to the innovation, retention and exploitation of echolocation.
 
F Cancer. His story's really heartbreaking. I remember watching it on some news programs a while back. He lost his eyes to cancer, but dealt with it, and lived happily when others would have been depressed. Then it came back and took his life.

Man, that's sad.

I still want to know how he used echolocation to play video games...that doesn't make any sense at all, but ****, talk about going full bore and living life with no excuses. Definitely an inspiration.
