Blankets and sheets for summer

Anyone have any good recommendation on finding some sheets and a blanket/bedspread that will keep me cool in the summertime and where to shop for some. My currenet sheets and bedspread is not that thick, but I still get hot as hell sleeping at night.

You use a blanket in the summer?

I can't do that unless I can crank the AC (like when we stay at a hotel or something). Too damn hot.

The wife tried having a comforter on our bed in the first summer after we got married. She gave up after I kicked the stupid thing off the bed and onto the floor for a week straight.

If you gotta have a blanket/comforter, I would guess the best thing to do is just fold it back to the end of the bed before you go to sleep...

Just get high tread count sheets and a cheap comforter. We have some Ralph Lauren and they're really soft so really cool at night. I recently bought a comforter for 70 bucks at mervy'ns and it's much better than the expensive one we have because it's so thin. I have to have a blanket on me over my shoulders at night or I can't sleep. Which is why we have a cheap thin blanket in the summers.
