Well, since there is a rookie salary scale, it's not like Sterling can low ball him. He'll play on a crappy team for 4 years, then get paid bigtime, same as if went to the Wiz or TWolves.

Griffin, Baron Davis, and Eric Gordon is not a bad trio. In the East, that probably gets you the eighth seed. In the West, the 10th seed.

I was hoping he would land in Washington. I thought there would be a good chance for immediate success for him with the Wizards. With a healthy Gilbert Arenas to go along with Butler and Jamison, they could pack a pretty good offensive punch. And outside of Cleveland, Boston, and Orlando.....there's a better than average chance to break into the 2nd tier of teams.

I had the same thought. However, I have to assume that Sterling is making money or so ridiculously rich and a tight wad that he does not care.
