Thank you for the laughs and the entertainment. You were a part of my childhood and one of the things my parents and I shared at the same time. I find your work funny and refreshing even today. Rest in peace.

BE did alot of great stuff, including all-time greats like Breakfast at Tiffany's and the Pink Panther films. 10 was much more clever than most expected given Bo Derek's pull on the audience. Days of Wine and Roses and Experiment in Terror were very solid for largely forgotten pieces. He also had a knack for bringing great, memorable pieces of music to the screen. A very able hollywood guy, and industry guy, old style through to the new.

Henry Mancini composed the (great & memorable) music for The Pink Panther movies, The Great Race, & many others. The Great Race was a favorite of mine when was I was a kid. The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) was a favorite as a teen, and I think it is by far the best of the series.

I absolutely loved Skin Deep with John Ritter, though I am apparently in the minority on that, as it got terrible reviews, and didn't make a lot of money.

I know that Breakfast at Tiffany's is a chick flick, but it's a great entertain. Mickey Rooney as an asian and the mean reds were classic. SUPERrat. Wasn't SOB about him. Julie Andrews showed her tits for him as I recall.

i like all of his later comedies, sob, victor-victoria, 10. they are all very funny. 10 is a classic imo. skin deep was just a little silly but ritter was very funny in it.
