Blackberry Email Question

I have a Blackberry 8700c and want to know if email from Yahoo or Gmail can be "pushed" to the device? If so, how do I do this? Thanks in advance.
 
What about for work? I really need a blackberry to check work email but my work has not offered to give me one. They pay for my home internet and cell phone service so I was thinking of just buying the blackberry on my own...but would i be able to rig it to access the network? Seems like the IT dept might have an issue of letting me use my personal phone to log into the network? but if i can do it myself then i will?
 
help...any reason to get a smart phone is not for work?

my old verizon phone can check the web, yahoo etc...

my job pays for cell phone service so data plan is not a problem...

kind of thinking of going the LG smartphone
 
Most providers (Sprint, for example) have a webmail interface that you can use to forward work email.

Ok well I didnt go with the black berry but did get a smart phone. The verizon xv6800....now how do i get my contacts from my old phone over to my new phone? Any ideas?
the store acted like a regular phone could not transfer over to a smart phone?
