bittorrent question

So, I finally got the season finale of CSI downloaded, but now I can't get it to play. I saved the file on my desktop, and when I click on the shortcut it just takes me back to the bittorrent downloader so I will seed the file for others to download. This has never happened to me before and I'm pretty damned frustrated.

No. When I clicked "download torrent" it asked if I wanted to open or save. I clicked save and selected the desktop for the destination. It took me 4 freaking days to get this stupid file because I couldn't never get a download rate faster than 5kb. And after all that, I can't even watch the crap.

btefnet was the shizzle. i can't get anything fast now, either, really. i have no idea how to solve your problem... unless you can rename the file and maybe take out the .torrent tag and replace with .avi or .wmv, whatever the csi copies usually come in.

what is the extension of the file on your desktop? You mentioned that you are clicking on some shortcut. The file on your desktop should either be the video vile (avi, mpg, etc.) or a zip file (zip, rar or iso.)

The type of file under properties says its a torrent file. The icon is that of the bittorrent downloader. Usually when I complete a file the icon is of windows media player.

It also says the file size is only 62K. hmmm...

One more thing.... There is a folder with the file name on it that has a shitload of files inside of it. I'm hoping these aren't all the files that make up the 1 episode because 1) there are about 50 of them and 2) they have that icon that displays when none of my programs will open it.

Edit: This is what I'm seeing

Got it. I'll futz with it and see if I can get it rollin. This looks like the program I use to put programs on my PDA.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll finally get to see it.
