i am using bittorent for the first time and using azureus as a program for it for my mac.

i have two downloads going but they stay on yellow for health which means that im not getting a remote connection becuse of a NAT problem. when i was setting it up it would nt let me use the default port. anybody know how to correct this?? thanks

forward port 6881, if you haven't already. that should be the default in azureus, but can be changed in options. also there is an option to forward port on demand, if your router supports upnp.

unlike other clients, azureus uses only one port. you can set it to any available port; 6881 is the default. when i'm on well seeded torrents, it will max out my roadrunner pipe if i throttle upload speed to 30kB/s.

I DLed BitTornado and installed it and when I open it, it asks for a .torrent file to open. WTF is that about and how do I get a .torrent file to get started.?
