Biotech connections on Hornfans?

I am a couple months from finishing my PhD in biomedical engineering at Rice. My research area was orthopedic tissue engineering and regeneration. Does anyone here (or have a friend who) works for a biotech company? Extra kudos if the company is located in Texas. Thanks!

Find me a job in the ATX, and I'll be there! I may be interested in Lexicon. Various biotech companies are advertising R&D jobs (mostly in Houston and Austin), but so far none are replying to my online applications/inquiries.
