someone please tell me what is going on in kentucky. i think billy clyde is a very good basketball coach. is it talent? is bcg not as good as i think?

I think the players there just haven't bought in to his program yet, and I think it is a bigger hurdle for him than most coaches...mostly because of his hardass style.

I think once he gets a couple of his own recruiting classes he will be fine. The guy is a good coach. I mean he turned aggy into a pretty solid team while he was there and if he can do it there he can damn sure do it with the talent he can get at Kentucky.

He is going to earn every penny they are paying him over the next couple years.

I think he got too much credit at A&M, and not enough at Kentucky. Acie Law was the reason they were so good last year, and Billy is the reason they are so bad this year. If Tubby Smith were still the coach, there is no way in hell they would be this pathetic this year. It is not the talent, it is the coach.

I've noticed that this season you don't see his dumb *** grin as much. I for one am loving this. And to think most of their fans wanted Billy over Barnes (even though Barnes was offered first).

Someone I know who is "close to the UK program" tells me that BCG has already had his way with two daughters of some very prominent donors, which would be acceptable behavior were he winning......
