Another reason I don't get excited about portals...

Not a surprise. But the net additions have been good for the team, and in particular Watts (huge get) & Tucker-Dorsey. Milton, not as much. I expect a big impact from the portal in 23.

What I wonder about is the miss on Ochaun Mathis. One knowledgeable recruiting guru said before the season that he would be worth two wins this year. Frankly, I don’t think he would’ve made that much of an impact given how well the defensive line has played. But, maybe…

Good point. We have a capable QB sitting on the bench. It was Sark’s decision not to give him a shot at Stillwater and in Austin.

Our TEs did pretty well this year. Sanders did great until QE's wheels started falling off.

After being suspended, he got very little run.

Mathis was not as advertised after observing him this year.
Like a previous poster noted, K.Robinson is the ONLY Bama portal that we got that is really, really good. I do have high hopes for Hall next year to add to that list. But the other ones from the last 2 classes were total busts.
The edge portal we really missed on was Verse who went to FSU and is a projected first rounder.
