I almost thought he was going to shush his partner so he could get through it without being interrupted by extraneous game-calling.

Al McGuire, may he rest in Pease, was the best TV color man ever. He knew the game was why people watch, not to hear him talk. Dick Vital is just a little better than Walton. Vital thinks his commentary is why people tune in.
