Bill Bradley lived on both sides of a Longhorn coin. Sometimes the coin landed on Horn's up, and other times the coin landed on tails down. But no matter which side of the coin he faced, Bill Bradley remained true to himself, and that is why he is still known as Super Bill.
Today, Bill Bradley, 74, and his wife live contentedly in the Hill Country, not all that far from Austin and the storied stadium he triumphantly exited fifty-three seasons ago. Bill agreed to the following archival interview with Texas Legacy Support Network.

IIRC: The Horns won 35-14 in 1968 and it was not that close. During that game DB BILL BRADLEY had 4 ... 4 INTERCEPTIONS.

A record that stands today as a single game record.... one that likely will NEVER be broken.

Years ago, I was having drinks with some friends and Larry Stegent was in the group. He told that story, and said the game was over at that point because every Aggie that heard it had eyes the size of a hubcap from a 57 Desoto, and all of them had their stomach upside down and heart in their throat. I believe his statement was, "We knew we were about to get our *** kicked".

EDIT: For those too young to remember or know, Stegent was the Aggie captain who called the coin toss, and a first round NFL draft pick.
