So I'm looking for a good shop and/or technician to get my mountain bike tuned up for spring. I don't want to spend alot of money and don't know who to speak to. Anyone have suggestions?

In Austin, Discovery Cycle. They do good work.
Well how screwed up is your bike?
Cleaning the chain, not using WD 40 instead of Teflon is a quck way to pay for something you don't need.
If you need your crank broken down then I understand going to the bike shop and have themn tune up your bike. but to be honest 3/4 of what they do is what I used to do in Junior high for my buddies that couldn't get their gears right.
Super link if you have a screw driver, a rag and some rudemntary tools, spoke wrench is a much for $4.
