Bijan headed to NFL

Good for him. Anyone would do it in his shoes. He had a great year, honed his craft and deserves to move on.

Wish he was staying but understand.

BIG THANK YOU Bijan for your incredible on the field success and for your VERY positive attitude about your team, teamates, coaches and The University!!!:hookem:

Nothing but the very BEST wishes from all of us in the NFL!

I will always be a fan, and I wish him well, but I’m sad, too.

Ricky Williams stayed four years AND played in the bowl game.

Like many have said, in my head I do not blame him, but in my heart I’d rather he stay but most of all I’d hoped he would participate in the bowl game.

Sad to see him go but it definitely make a lot of sense for him. One plus, we finally get to stop hearing about the lack of Texas 1st round draft picks.

He is already charting a path as a lifetime longhorn. Plans to be at the Alamo Bowl with the team to support the guys. Plans to train in Austin for the NFL draft so that he can be with his former teammates and recruits.

Another selfish, inconsiderate Longhorn great who doesn't care about MY needs and desires! He could stay another year and give me more thrills and jaw drops but, no-o-o-o – he's gotta think of only himself and his needs!

Seriously, what a talent and class-act he has been. He shall be greatly missed.

I’d like the see BR with the Chargers or Seahawks, but the Lions or Rams wouldn’t surprise me. This is one draft that I’m going to watch.

Bijan fought like a warrior to keep us above water. He was a great college running back and his opponents respected him and our running game. We've had many holes in our lineup during these dry years but he wasn't one of them. He kept the spark going that is Longhorn Football. He just needed more help as do all teams who are missing vital pieces.

A job more than well done.

And he also had a great happy personality. He represented very well.
