Truly, I don't know what's going to happen this week at Haymarket. I can't possibly believe our team can be this bad, but they're getting worse and worse.

We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3-0 either way.
 
The Creighton/Nebraska game was on CBS College last night and I had it on the same time while I had the UT/TCU on my computer.

Nebraska lost 15-0…and they looked like a team that was in a complete free fall. That is six straight loses and they have been getting drummed.

Obviously you can never assume a sweep in Lincoln and their backs are against the wall…but if we can jump out to an early lead, then you might see the “here we go again” attitude from the Nebraska players. You certainly saw it last night against Creighton once they were down a few runs.

Taking at least two out of three is very important…but I think a sweep could be possible. NU still has a lot of talent though.

I know that Creighton and NU are rivals of some sorts in baseball, but it is heated between the two?

I noticed last night as the game went on that the Creighton players were talking a lot trash. And when the final out was recorded a couple of the Creighton kids were dancing and taunting a little bit, like they had won some sort of big game.

I thought it was kind of strange…is there some kind of history behind that…or was I just seeing things.
 
Ok…thanks for the insight man, I honestly had no idea. I never would have thought that a school the caliber of Creighton would even try to consider themselves a rival with Nebraska…anyways.

Like I said, the way the Creighton players were acting last night it was pretty classless IMO…..the word “aggy” did come to mind.
 
Thoughts:
We are 6 and 6 and haven't played any games against the 4 top teams in our conference. A realist might question our chances going forward. But optimism is more fun than realism.
 
From what I've seen, Creighton seems to always play Nebraska like it's their championship. I would compare them to Texas St for us. An in-state school most out-of-staters don't hear much about. But they get up for our games and more often than expected are pretty successful at it. Of course, at least in recent years, both have had pretty decent baseball programs in their own right.
 
Creighton got to the CWS before NU did and that really pisses NU off. Also, Creighton is ALWAYS the official host school in the CWS.

It was really nice to get the sweep over the Huskers. I like how Texas is playing right now and how the schedule is set up with 9 out of the next 12 conference games are at the Disch. Bring on OU!

How I would love to put a big **** turd in A&M's season - but I can't say I have a whole lot of confidence in this ballclub right now...
