Texas Football Player Breckyn Hager Receives Public Reprimand

Big 12 Conference commissioner Bob Bowlsby announced a public reprimand of University of Texas football player Breckyn Hager for his post-game remarks after Saturday’s contest against Iowa State. His comments were in violation of the Conference’s Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct policies.

“Breckyn Hager violated the Conference rule that prohibits coaches, student-athletes, athletic department staff and university personnel from making negative comments about other member institutions for his remarks about the University of Oklahoma,” said Bowlsby. “This is Mr. Hager’s second violation of the Conference sportsmanship rules and therefore, he is receiving a public reprimand and will be expected to issue a public apology for his inappropriate comments.”

That ******* spineless moron Bowelsby reprimands Hagar, but won't do a damn thing about Walleye Burks and his worthless BigSky conference reject officials.

Maybe because Bowelsby and his Brie and Chardonnay crowd are used to in northern Cali-prune-ya.

It's REAL football with real rivalries. Get used to it, or get the **** out.

What I'm impressed by is that unlike so many other player 'apologies' I've read, I believe Hager actually wrote his.

I've heard so much OU smack talk over the years... Baker Snowflake last year running his mouth... that I'd have told Bowlsby to take his apology and stick it up his ***. Mr. Hager you're a better man than me, cheers sir :hookem:

Hey, at least Bowlsby sounded like he meant it this time. When he "reprimanded" Mr Mayfield last year it started out stern and ended seeming more like a sloppy wet kiss on the hiney.

The dude knows how the pre-fight hype is supposed to work.

Honestly, the funniest thing after the game was when the reporter on LHN started his interview and asked the first question. He took the mike from her and I said "OK here we go..." I would pay money for him to do that and start the answer with "Lemme tell ya something, BROTHER!!!!"

I grew my hair out until my wife and daughters just would not leave me alone, and I caved and cut it. I am jealous of Hagar hair. He won't be able to do that when he is my age. And no I AM NOT BALDING. I just have a wife that wants my hair clean cut. It's growing again and I'm going to keep pushing that boundary.
 
I think this is perfect.

Hager is a lifelong Longhorn. He knows how to talk ousux and aggy talk just like we do. He's a fan who is also a player.

He said what he meant. Everyone loved it. He apologized because players can't really talk just like fans. Even sooners have his back because of the mutual rivalry.

I'd take this all day long.
