I'm quite certain the game before will go in OT and we'll miss the first 8 minutes of ours...(just trying to apply some reverse-jinx here)

BEAT KU!

Absolutely no doubt, we will not see tipoff. It may not go to OT, but it will get dragged out unmercifully. In fact, I expect that what will make it really painful is that the game will essentially be decided and yet fouls and timeouts will stretch it out and make me want to ram my head through my television.

KU shooting over 60% for the half and we are still leading. Unbelievable...

If DJ comes back next year he will be the best UT player ever.

Barnes--"Hopefully, they've used up most of their threes right there."

KU is 9-14 shooting 3's. And Texas was better at it for the first half--8-11. I guess if these teams are tired, it hasn't affected shooters' legs yet, just the defensive reactions.

Was that Mack putting his arm around Barnes as he walked in the tunnel at the break? Gotta love UT's coaches cheering each other on. Success begets success!

That was one of the best and exciting first halves of college basketball I've seen in a long time. I would love to be watching this game as a neutral observer. Two different styles of play, and both teams are playing off the charts. This game a National Championship type quality game. That's how good these teams are.

Looks like both teams got that good shooting out of their systems in the first half. KU couldn't buy a basket for the first 6 minutes of the 2nd half, then UT went on a 1-for-12 ice age.

Edit: spoke too soon. Now KU is shooting lights out from beyond the arc again. Is Chalmers having a record-setting game here?

Is this where Texas' lack of depth lets Kansas run away with this game? Or do the Longhorns find that extra gear and get back in the game? Tournament history says the former, but this team ain't those.

Refs blew the call on the ball off of AJ. AJ was already out of bounds when it hit him. That call really hurt as they made a 3 right after.

Well, this is painful. Keep it so close to the very end, then start making bad mental mistakes (bad shot choices, turnover by DJ) that put the game out of reach.

Edit: Oh, and going without a FG the last 4 minutes. That really sucks.

So the biggest deficit we get all day comes at the very end. That's just painful.

We'd darn well better end up at #2 in the South after this effort. But I don't think we'll get it.
