Big XII Championship seating

Called the LHF today, they told me based on my donation amount, I probably wouldn't qualify for Big XII Championship tickets. I checked Ticketmaster and found nothing on the Big XII South side. I did find 4 seats upper goal line at $66 each, so I went ahead and bought them, even though they were on the Big XII North side. So my 3 kids and I will be watching the game from enemy territory. Any suggestions as to what one might do to trade or upgrade my seats to sit on our side?

Most of that upper deck on the north side will be filled with Texas fans. I bought mine there last week, as did several other posters here.

Bought a parking pass in Lot 11 also.

Don't worry about where you're sitting. There will be plenty of Texas fans nearby. I bought my tix several weeks ago from Ticketmaster. The seats are in the 4th level. Based on what I read about who was buying tickets then, they were all Texas fans.

No big secret thats its 3 to 4 k is the cutoff.

I know the map shows North and South team sides, but I'm sure that's just for the sidelines and the lower reserved seats for each school. Middle and upper decks will probably be 95%+ Horns all the way around.

They keep saying it will be 3-4K cutoff, and they said it was the same in 2005, but it was not. We donate under 2K and had no problems getting tickets in 2005.

Does anyone think tickets will be hard to scalp for this game? Doesn't Cowboys Stadium hold like 90k +? I'm wondering if $50 would at least score endzone seats...

As other posters in this thread have indicated, don't worry about where your seats are. I bought mine from Ticketmaster weeks ago, and they are squarely in North territory. Texas fans will cover the entire stadium. It will be at least 80% burnt orange.

How did they handle CU's tickets in 05? They couldn't have had more than 1,000 fans there. I assume they released all of their un-sold tickets to the public?

Good point. Maybe they were given to UT which is why people at lower donations got tickets. I would think either KSU or definitely NB will use all of their allotment.

More importantly, can anyone confirm whether they will be selling beer throughout the stadium? Or is it only in the Club sections? And if so, is it in all of the Club sections?
