Can yall remind me what the TV schedule is like? Is it one national Big 12 game a week, plus 1 regional? I'm trying to guess whether TT/Neb game will be on TV the same day as UT/OU

Most weeks ABC will only have one regional game available in the afternoon, unless you have ESPN gameplan, and their prime time game. The week you're asking about is one of the exceptions. TT/Neb is the most likely candidate for regional coverage that day but if Missouri beats Illinois the first week they'll be undefeated and OSU has a good chance of no more than one loss as well.

The link is to Fox's year long schedule. The week you're looking for is #7. It's good to have in your favorites as you can search by week or team. Penn State@Wisconsin is the prime time game. Other games of interest:

LSU@Florida

Tennessee@Georgia

Arkansas@Auburn

ASU@USC

UCLA@Oregon

I'm planning on having a nice get together the Day of the RRS. In addition to UT/OU, there are a whole bunch of other good games for the non-texas/ou fans. Thanks for the info and the link!

I agree about the TEXAS AGGIES. That one gets under my skin. There's only ONE Texas. They play in Austin and their fans don't squeeze their own nuts.
There is no such thing Texas Aggies.
No Texas Red Raiders.
No Texas Horn Frogs.
No Texas Coal Miners.
If you called ANY of those other teams "the TEXAS ____, " I assure you your mistake would be corrected quickly. OTOH, aTm wants to be TEXAS so bad they can't stand it--and I can't stand it either.
DisAg, your post is useful and appreciated, but is broken. Please fix it.

Link is corrected.

FYI: I is Aggy thus Texas Aggie:

But now the xls is fixed so you can correct to your liking.

Does anyone know how the heck the TV contract works ?

First ABC gets first choice.
But sometimes they have 2 ABC games.

Now FSN gets next choice ?

But is ESPN deal like a subcontract with FSN ?
That is if there is a game on ESPN there will be no FSN game ?

One thing I hadn't noticed before is that none of our conference opponents scheduled an open date the week before they play us. My memory may be wrong but it seems like there's always one or two teams each year that do this.
