"Hookem.com can confirm that Texas has offered possibly the nation's no. 1 overall prospect, Dorial Green-Beckham of Springfield (Mo.) Hillcrest"

Green-Beckham is a freak. 6'6", 220 pounds, He is as good as Kyle Prater was in the 2010 recruiting class. He's been the top player in the midwest for two years running and is one of the best players in the country, flat out.

He has the size, speed (4.43 recorded 40 time), hands, quickness and leaping ability o make play after play. He comes out of his breaks well and is a terror in the redzone on fade routes.

Just about everyone has offered including Michigan, Oklahoma, USC, Miami, Florida, Ohio State and Alabama and now TEXAS!

Gotta love how we are now recruiting OOS! Go get 'em Mack!!

Wyatt is good buddies with his dad...outside shot but a shot nonetheless!

Maybe this will light a fire under the Texas 3 that are slow playing our offers for some reason.

Agree that its probably a long shot, but I love that we're making the effort now. If we want to be the best, we've got to go after the best.

Is it a longshot merely because he's out of state, or for some other reason, i.e., another school is a long-time favorite, strong connection with another program, etc.?

On why he's probably a long shot, I've read that Mizzou and OU are the top 2 vying for his services. This is consistent with what the Jesus is reporting. We may just be a little too late to the party, but you never know what magic Wyatt can work. Here's to hoping his voodoo dolls are out in full force.

You have to think that his coach/foster dad will want to place him with someone he knows will take care of him. Wyatt's relationship may really help out.

I'm sure we are looking OOS more because we just brought in coordinators and key coaches from OOS and from other conferences. Why wouldn't they recruit elsewhere also since they are familiar with that? It'd be amazing if these coaches would pay additional dividends with big OOS signings on top of excellence in coaching our team.

The last time we had a receiver that big and that fast was
when Lovell Pinckney was here. If his head had been on
straight he might have had a fifteen year pro career. I have
not seen wasted talent like that. The guy was unreal when
he tried to be.

Glad to see we're finally expanding the brand.
Should have happened after Vince's crystal.

If you get 1 in 5 amongst the real playmakers it's worth it.
