I thought the season finale was a little underwhelming. There was about 1,000 different things piling on Bill Paxton's character, to the point that i thought he was going to completely lose it and then in the last 10 minutes, it somehow got all wrapped up. I was like: what?
SPOILERS....
Anyone get the feeling Margine's character was getting swindeled by the home shopping network folks?
And i hope somehow Roman (Dean Stanton) is not really dead, but he certainly looked it. He is the best thing on the show. He and Chloe Sevigny.
I hope that Roman is not dead, but Im pretty sure that he is. He is a good villian. I guess Green can fill his role if he is gone. BTW, does Greens wife creep anyone else out?
I'm not sure if there is a single casting director or a group of folks, but the casting for this show is damn near perfect. I cannot think of another show where I feel the actors fit their roles as accurately as they do on Big Love.
Paxton. Sevigny. Goodwin. Tripplehorn. The old guy playing Roman Grant. Alby.
Agreed. We've been watching since it started and every episode is as good as the previous. I thought Roman was going to be gone this season and was glad so now that he is finally dead I am ready to move on.
Alby will likely take over uncontested and he is good enough to be a villain. Especially with his ties to Bill's wife.
Something tells me that Casino thing isn't going to work out.
Actually if they need a good villain, they could somehow let Bill's dad (Bruce Dern) get control of things, or play a bigger role. There are very few actors who can inspire hatred of a charactor the way that Bruce Dern does.
His wife was going to kill him, but didnt go through with it. He is still around. They have so many plots and charactors in this show I think that have to put some of them on the backburner for a while.
