I have my tickets for KC. Plan to take the whole thing in. Any of ya'll going?

I decided not to go this year after going to the last 5 and seeing which tickets were available. Unfortunately when the Big 12 and ticket master opened the ticket sale, no tickets were available for the lower bowl or the mezzanine (except the ones behind the basketball goal). In short nearly all the tickets were for the upper deck.

Hopefully with vaccination and another year, perhaps the tournament will return to normal.

It was for 3 quarters. Think we just let out guard down a little.

I didn't get to watch the game but looking at the box score this is kind of what I thought. We won by 9 points and won 3 of 4 quarters. Maybe it wasn't the dominating win some expected, but still a decent win. 48% FG, 42% 3pt, 71% Ft, almost doubled up on rebounds and more assists...seems like a pretty good game....but, sloppy ball handling is what kept this from being a total blowout having 21 turnovers.

I agree but same old story. What is wrong with this bunch?.. No killer instinct whatsoever. It's been the same way for the last two or three seasons with them.
They’re not fresh late in the last two games I was able watch. A lot of minutes being played by a few and it shows. They look tired as the game goes on this will definitely be an issue come tournament time as they play games on quick turnarounds. Could be a reason they played a slow tempo today as they get ready for big12

Good point. They have logged a lot of minutes this year.

I also think they have gotten suckered into letting their guards down the last 2 games. Kinda hard to keep the intensity when the other team hasn’t shown it for 3 of 4 quarters. I do agree with BRNKJ....it would be nice to put a team away and relax for a quarter.

Oakman, I agree. Vic is the coach, and I don't think any of us are in the position to question his game management. I agree that when 3 of our starters played pretty much the entire game, then it has to be managed. Vic's game is uptempo and when we were able to do that we were awesome. He slowed it down, I'm guessing to conserve energy. We got a bit lazy and TCU sensed an opportunity. There is some reason why he's unwilling to go more than 7 or 8 deep (I saw Shae Holle for perhaps 1 minute). Hopefully next year we'll be deeper.

Karen would jerk their butts out if they let up, but Vic doesn't have the quality depth to do that... not this year anyway.

Karen would jerk their butts out with no rhyme or reason from what I could decipher. Would absolutely prefer we not go back to the rotating door at the scorer’s table. That drove me crazy her entire time here.

You said it... :yikes:

It’s not easy to beat any team three times in the same season, but we’ve proven that we can beat IS more easily than OSU so I’m good with 5
I don't like that matchup for a third time, but it is what it is. We'll need to hit some shots like we did the other two times we played them.

I don’t love the matchup and trying to beat such a good team three in a row, but it seems like it’s a good one to get more minutes for Ashley than some others and she’s definitely at the upper echelon of our bench players this season it seems.

I don't see Celeste or Audrey, but they could just be out of the frame of the camera. Very concerning at any rate.

Do we know yet, who isn’t available to play? I can’t find Warren in a single photo online. But I also don’t think we had her available for either of the Conf matchups against Iowa State.
