Big 12 Tourney Tiebreaker Question

Currently Texas and KSU are tied with 8-8 records. Who would get the 5 seed if KSU splits their remaining two against A&M and OSU, and we split our remaining two with OU and KU? We split the two games between us, so the tiebreaker would have to go beyond that. It would appear if we were a 5 we’d play #4 ISU, 6 we would play #3 Baylor. I think we match up better against ISU although both will be formidable.

It looks like the 2nd tiebreaker rule (from big12 website) will apply:

Each team's record vs. the team occupying the highest position in the final regular-season standings, and then continuing down through the standings until one team gains an advantage.

The jury is still out on our record against KU, however, should we lose to KU, the tiebreaker moves to Mizzou. KSU beat Mizzou. Texas did not. KSU gets the nod.
