Big 12 Tourney: Tech or OSU?

Who do we prefer to face in our first game of the tourney Tech or OSU? We just lost to Tech and beat OSU so traditional thinking says OSU. However, we player OSU pretty closely in both games and were not having terrible games. We blew out tech and then lost the second time in one of our worst looking performances of the season. Also we lost in Lubbock, which seems to be the bizarro world of sports. So thoughts.... I think Tech personally. We just played OSU and I hate playing the same team so close together, it is always dangerous. Also we will take Tech seriously this time and I think repeat our Austin performance rather than our Lubbock.

Hard to beat a team twice in a row. Plus, I think a few 'pokes would travel to KC for the game. Doubt there would be many red turds there. Sometimes Tech can do the impossible in Lubbock. Outside of their smelly confines, though, they aren't that great, IMO at least. I'd prefer Tech.

I agree, I want Tceh. Would be tougher in theory beating OSU 3 times than getting revenge against the turds.

Resume wise I would think that avenging the defeat to Tech would count for a lot more than beating OSU for a third time. Not to mention it probably being a lot easier to do. But I also think that OSU will stomp a mudhole on Tech so we won't get that opportunity.

Talentwise, OSU is a MUCH better team than Tech is. What you see with Tech is what you get, and they squeaked by us on their home court while we were playing horribly.

I definitely would rather play Tech, but it's not going to happen, IMO.

No brainer: Tech.

They haven't done anything outside of Lubbock. OKSt went on a run where they beat Baylor, aTm, KU, Mizzou and Nebraska - they're a much more dangerous team than Tech. We'll be favored in either game, but the line would be 5 pts higher vs. Tech.

Agreed Tech. They are not good away from home and we will hopefullly not take them for granted.

I think OSU is the better team, but Tech traded games with them the same as us.

Tech needs to be stomped. We need to hammer them by 25 or more pts. The image of those idiots going nuts after we lost to them is burned into my retinas, and retribution must be exacted.

I don't care. We just won the conf championship and should be able to beat any of them. The problem is that we won't which is why I say I don't care.
