Can you buy a GA ticket and sit anywhere in the stadium? What I mean is, will the ushers block certain areas of the stand (a la Baylor) unless you have a reserved seat?

Just buy GA on a game by game basis. Plenty of places to sit and no aisle-nazi's to check your ticket.
