TT with the early one point lead over KU. TT had fallen behind by 5 after three straight possessions with Roberson penetrating and passing to no one or a sea of arms for three straight turnovers. Then KU couldn't hit on several possessions, and TT regained the lead 15-14. TT battling KU even on the boards so far.

KU then pulled out to an 8 point lead, thanks to a three, a layup and some free throws, the last two after a technical foul. Tech closed with a three pointer and a steal and break for layup plus one. Teams went back and forth with a lot of missed shots and one and outs.

Tech has nothing inside this game since the first couple of minutes, either offensive rebounding or scoring. KU is getting better looks, just not hitting the shots. Cohaderavic is trying, but maybe a little too hard, as he picked up a couple of travelling calls in the last 6 minutes. Tech is rebounding well on defense, but I expect KU to start exerting dominance there and cruise.

Refs miss a pretty obvious goaltending by Morris. They were letting the teams play rugby early on but started to get a little more control later in the half. KU up only 2 at the half.

God, I hope we can at least get one more win in this tourney. go HUSKERS, beat the hell out of aTm

Nebraska has closed it to 3 and has the ball. Anderson misses the three. Then one and out again for A&M.

NU goes absolutely brain dead with a minute to go. They hit a 3 to close it to 4, then stay in the zone. It looks like it might work, as A&M simply burns clock for 30 seconds and has nothing going, then the man guarded 30 feet away from the basket zips a pass to a wide open Davis under the basket, who goes up, fouled from behind by Diaz. Three point play as shot clock runs out.

I've been on the fire Sadler wagon all year, but the fact is he needs another year. I've been one of his biggest detractors all year and I don't necessarily like it but as the late Walter Cronkite once said, that is the way it is. That gamey effort in KC, despite some braindead moments, gets him one more year in my mind. If this happens again next year then Tom better can Doc's ***.

nebraska looked lethargic in the first half.

had they played with the same intensity that they had in the 2nd, i think the game could have gone differently.

the husker zone stymied us.

You guys had a couple of senior guards, a lot of young guys in the frontcourt and an assortment of sophmore and junior perimeter players. You'll be better next year. Diaz, Standhardinger, and Ubel, with a year under them, will be much improved and give you legitimate inside threats.

You guys lost your projected starting center before the season started and McCray in the first half of the third game of the year.

I'd definitely give Sadler another year.

Walter Cronkite said "that's the way it is" a few times more than once. From an old fart who heard it several hundred times...

RIP Walter

KSU blew the doors off OSU in the first half and cruised to a 19 point win. Anderson jacked up 14 three pointers. He hit 4. KSU killed OSU underneath.
