I actually like this bracket. If we can hold it together and play 40 minute ball for 3 games we might end up in the championship game against A&M or OU.
A&M ran all over K-State the 1st time they played this season.... but i don't see today's game being a blow out. i think K-State will come out with more fire and determination. if A&M's shots are falling, though, they are tough to beat.
i didn't watch much of the OSU/Tech game yesterday. but if OSU can play together and, of course, get a lot of points from Riley...they could pull off the upset of Baylor and get some revenge for the tough loss at home to the bears.
Lehning played in the A&M game....they retired her jersey after that game. i don't think she was fully recovered from the mono, though...she still might not be, but she seems to be back to full speed in the last few games. her play should make a difference.
It should be an exciting day with some good matchups. I am interested in seeing which Baylor team shows up, the one that was blown our by KU or the one that came back and beat aTm. I truly believe that we have a great shot at getting to the final.
CP almost had a double-double in the 1st half (17 points and 9 boards). Thompson has 10 points, but everyone else has been pretty quiet. Whitney Hand was back in the starting line-up.
Thompson is a Junior. she is a great player, though i think she's struggled a bit this year starting at the 3 position...she'll probably be able to shift back to power forward next season.
great game going on FSN. A&M and K-State are trading buckets. K-State just took the lead back, 54-53.
wow, what an ending....so similar to what happened to K-State last season. sucks for them, big time. did they have any time-outs left? they should have called one to set up a play.
