Texas is a #6 seed and will play Iowa St. in 1st round on Wednesday around 830pm.

Texas wins and they play Baylor in quarterfinal match on Thursday around 830pm.

Let's see if our boys can regroup and get any momentum at all before march madness.

I hate to say it but the performance i saw in Waco didn't do much to raise my expectations.

How embarrassing to be looking up to aggy, wheat aggy and Baylor. The Texas side of the bracket is the easiest so if the team wants to be in the CG, they should be able to pull that off.

However, if the team that showed up in 2 games against aggy and Baylor shows up, Texas will have wasted expense money, and hello NIT.

I haven't seen anything on court that leads me to believe we will win our opening game. Our men's basketball team is in complete freefall. UT gets bounced by ISU.

We can and should beat ISU, but nothing this team does, or doesn't do will surprise me. What a strange year it has been.

If we squeak by ISU, we'll need a herculean effort from G Johnson -- 30+ points this time -- and a good game from Bradley to get past Baylor's zone defense. Bradley's slump is really hurting us last couple of weeks. Let's hope he snaps out of it soon.

Although ISU is on a bit of a run towards the end of the season, I think we can beat them by double digits...

I also believe we can beat Baylor. We should have beat them in Austin and they wont have home-court advantage in the tourney.

Winning the Big 12 would be a nice thing to strive for here. I honestly dont see us making the magical run to the final four, so this is something more easily obtainable and would somehow end this season on high note.

I want to see a rematch with Baylor. I really think that game will tell how much heart this team has. Everybody has their ideas about what the major problems are and many people say that the team has quit. Im not sure I believe that yet. If they go up there and do work against Baylor I might be able to convince myself that heart is not the problem and its some of the 8 million other factors.
