BU is playing UT-Arlington, showing on Fox Sports Pacific, TWC 374 in Austin.
At 7pm, OU hosts Winthrop on Fox Sports Central, TWC 373 in Austin,
Good leadins to the UT game in China at 9pm on ESPN.

Got to watch the Baylor game last night. Some take aways:

1. Baylor's starters included:

Post - Kristina Higgins
Forward - Alexis Prince
Forward - Nina Davis
Guard - Alexis Jones
Point - Niya Johnson

Baylor's primary bench players were:

Post - Kalani Brown
Post - Khadijah Cave
P/F - Beatrice Mompremier
Guard - Kristy Wallace

2. I know it's UT-Arlington. But Baylor's defense was phenomenal. Although Alexis Prince struggled with 0-11 shooting, including a couple bunnies, her perimeter defense is outstanding.

3. Alexis Jones, the Duke transfer, is feeling her way onto the team. Her perimeter defense is ahead of her offense right now. But with her and Niya, Baylor essentially has 2 point guards on the floor most of the time, including combo-guard Kristy Wallace.

4. It appears Mulkey is red-shirting PG - Alexandria Gulley, P/F Justis..., and G - Alyssa Dry. I wonder what's going on in Justis's mind knowing that Lauren's coming in next year.

It went down before I joined this board but was there any talk as to why Dry and Justis dropped UT for Baylor? I like the 2015 class we got more (Higgs, Hosey, Aborowa), just asking.

At that time we didn't have the room to take both Dry and Beavers. If they hadn't been a packaged deal we probably would have taken Beavers.

Dry is hurt and there are some kind of NCAA clearing issues on Beavers, per the game commentators they are expecting Beavers to get cleared any day now they r not sure why it has taken this long. They did clarify that it was not a grade or disciplinary issue though so not sure what is holding her up

If it's not a grade or discipline issue, then the only remaining factor I can think of is SAT/ACT score. This summer this happened to one of our football players where the football player previously scored poorly and did not qualify on the SAT/ACT and then all the sudden, performed outstanding on the SAT/ACT that there was such a disparity and investigation ensued as to whether there was cheating involved. I think the NCAA wanted our football player to re-take the SAT/ACT again to see if the outstanding result could be duplicated.

Devonaire Clarington (All American TE from Florida) took the ACT twice. Second score much higher than the first and it was 'flagged' by the ACT, not NCAA. Took it a third time and the score was in line with his first and he was denied admission. He has taken/will take it again rather than go JUCO. Feel bad for the kid, wants to be a Longhorn in the worst way.

surprised to see ISU lose and that KU had just a close outing vs Tx Southern.
I think ISU will struggle this year without Nikki Moody. I'm happy that we don't have to play against her this year. She would always play well against Texas.

North Texas beats OU. Congrats to Jalie Mitchell.
That was awesome to see last night, as a former UT assistant we should all be happy to see her first W come against the sooners!!! Great JOB!!!

As for the RPI, we'll be fine. We still play one of, if not THE toughest schedule in the country. We'll be fine.
