well i guess it's on to cheering for the Big 12 teams, now that Texas is out...6 of the 7 survived the 1st round.
Second round match-ups:

Monday
#2 A&M vs #7 Gonzaga
#4 Oklahoma State vs #5 Georgia
#4 Baylor vs #5 Georgetown

Tuesday
#1 Nebraska vs #8 UCLA
#4 Iowa State vs #12 UW-Green Bay
#3 Oklahoma vs #11 Ark-Little Rock
 
A&M struggling early against the zags, but hanging in. down 16-12 with 11:00 to play in 1st half. gonzaga sure loves to fast break...they are running all over A&M.
 
aggies not playing well at all. gonzaga has them completely off their game right now...not at all looking like the team that won the Big 12 tournament.

Great game. I expect the aggies to climb back into the game in the 2nd half. Even though they're behind, Colson (what little time she gets) is harrassing Vandersloot to no end.

Blair will have an answer for the 2nd half.
 
Baylor is looking good with Griner having been on the bench for a while. Georgetown is COLD from the field.
 
I'll root for all of them except OK State... I like Georgia.

Go Big 12.... for the most part!

Would have liked to see them advance for Big 12 sake but seeing them go out isn't as painful as I thought.

While Blair's technical may have fired up his team earlier the game, it ends up being the difference in a win versus a loss . . .
 
I fear once again the Big 12 is showing itself as the most competitive but the most over-rated conference in the nation. All 3 Big 12 losses have come at the hands of teams with lower seeds. Baylor's run in 2005 is the only time the big 12 has exceeded its seeding on average. We beat each other up and then lose in the NCAAS. I hope the remaining teams play up to their seedings at least.
 
Big 12 makes up 25% of the Sweet 16 this year. I'd say we've lived up to our reputation. That said, Texas needs to get back there too. It's been too long.
