in the battle of the "bubble" teams, Tech getting the win in Stillwater was big for their chances. Riley got T'd up with about 3 minutes left to play in the game, after Tech went up 65-63 on a lay up. haven't read an explanation of why the technical was called, though.

Tech board seems to think that Riley kicked the ball after a call, causing the T to be called. At least that's what I read yesterday.

Need to root for KU today.

I'm sure Andrea "Sluggo" Riley was just being her usual self. IF they make the NCAA tourney, they'll have a horrible seed and play their first game without her. I hope that happens and they suffer for it. Maybe she'll mature someday.

We need to have at least 3 of the next 4....anyone see it happening?? I think if we can get the same team that played in Waco and Ames, then we have a shot....yes, even against OU @ home.

ISU's loss gives us a chance for the #4 spot, if we win all the remaining games except OU and if ISU loses at Tech, which I think is a good possibility. But can we win on the road at MU, on the road at KSU, and at home against Baylor? It's a tall order.

Of course, there's all kinds of ifs, ands and buts, and if some bottom-of-the-big12 team shows up scorching hot for a couple games in a row, then there's no telling whose projections go out the window.

KSU may still be without Lehning (mono) or she will not be in top shape. In addition, the Horns should understand that they need at least two wins to get betwen a 5-7 ranking in the NCAAs. I'm not worried about the Big 12 tournament.
